President & CEOMuntaga Susohor founded Excellence Football Academy in 2019 with a clear vision: to create a pathway for young Gambian footballers to reach their full potential. His leadership and dedication have built an academy that develops both skilled players and responsible individuals.

From our founding in 2019 to becoming GFAA U17 champions in 2025.
Foundation
Excellence Football Academy was founded by Muntaga Susohor with a vision to develop young Gambian football talent and provide pathways to professional football.
GFAA U17 Champions
EFA won the 2025 AFRISKAUT GFAA U17 Youth League, marking a major milestone and proving the academy's competitive excellence on the national stage.
KM Region Dominance
EFA swept the KM Region U17 National Youth League awards — Best Academy, Best Team, Best Player (Sulayman Kandeh), and Top Goal Scorer (Sulayman Kandeh — 14 goals).
ZAXBET Youth League Champions
EFA added another title by winning the ZAXBET Youth League, continuing the academy's winning tradition and showcasing the depth of talent being developed.
